Unforgettable Sports Memories with The Lake Zurich Maulers

    ROOKIE TOUCH RUGBY (COED)

    Our Rookie Rugby team practices on Monday and Wednesday at Paulus Park beginning in mid-March. Games are played weekly on Sunday (some Saturday's) through April and May. 

    1st-4th (Ages 6-10)

    Rookie rugby is a non-contact version of the game of rugby that is played at the elementary school level. 

    Pre-K & KG (Ages 4-6)

    It is never too early to start learning the wonderful game of rugby! Our touch rugby program starts with kids as little as 4 years old!

    Practices

    We plan on practicing twice a week - Monday and Wednesday at Paulus Park. Outdoor practices will start in mid-March.

    Games are typically every weekend during the season (mostly Sunday) as part of festivals hosted by Rugby Illinois. Our official schedule will be announced closer to the beginning of the season!

    Registration is now open for our 2026 season! Fees for U13 include a promotional early bird pricing of $98 between now and January 1st, 2026 at which time fees will be increased to $125.
